What to know: This is an outdoor retreat on 60 acres of beautiful natural landscape in the Texas Hill Country.

  • Peek of Bluebonnet season.

  • Wear good walking shoes.

  • Dress appropriatly with layers.

  • Be prepared for rain, sun, heat and cold.

  • Be mindful of your health and physical condition for a day of walking, Qigong, Tai Chi & Meditation outside.

  • Plenty of opportunity to sky gaze lay back and rest.

About the Teacher:

Henderson J. Smith, Jr., BS, CMBM, IIQTC, NQA Certified Sr. Trainer of Qigong and Tai Chi  

Henderson is an (ALF) American Leadership Forum Sr. Fellow and an Adaptive Leadership Certified Facilitator. Henderson is a second-degree black belt in Sei Bu Do Martial Arts, he has a BS degree in Management and Marketing, he is Certified with (CMBM) the Center for Mind Body Medicine. He is a Sr. Trainer with the (IIQTC) Institute for Integral Qigong and Tai Chi and is a Certified Professional Qigong and Tai Chi Teacher with the (NQA) National Qigong Association. As an IIQTC Sr. Trainer and assistant to his teacher Dr. Roger Jahnke, Henderson co-led two training trips with 30+ people for 23 days to China in 2013 and 2018 respectively.
